Oct 8 · Trust Center · Terms changed
Terms changed MediumWispr AI's security and compliance FAQ adds a new disclosure that Scratchpad notes sync to the cloud on Mac and Windows regardless of the Dictation Cloud Storage setting (only an organization turning Scratchpad off stops sync), and that on iOS note sync does not apply to accounts under a Business Associate Agreement or in privacy mode. The other changes are non-substantive reorderings of an export-refusal note and an admin-confirmation sentence between sections.
Oct 2 · Trust Center · Training rights changed
Training rights changed MediumWispr AI's security and compliance FAQ now states that the "Improve the model for everyone" setting — which determines whether dictation and Notetaker content may be used to improve Wispr's models — is on by default for Free and Pro plans (with the choice shown during onboarding and an opt-out), and is off for Enterprise accounts where administrators cannot re-enable it. The page also adds new detail on Notetaker meeting audio retention (deleted 7 days after upload) and a new self-service data export feature.
Sep 10 · Trust Center · AI feature launched
AI feature launched MediumWispr AI, Inc. newly disclosed its Context Awareness feature in the Wispr Flow security FAQ, describing how it uses limited, relevant text content (screen context) from the active app to improve dictation formatting and understanding, with enterprise admin controls and a commitment that captured screen context is not retained when Privacy Mode is on / Dictation cloud storage is off. The update also renames "Cloud Sync" to "Dictation cloud storage" and expands audit-log disclosures, but the Context Awareness disclosure is the most significant change.
Aug 26 · DPA · AI subprocessor added
AI subprocessor added HighWispr AI's updated DPA (Aug 24, 2026) adds multiple new AI/ML subprocessors to its processing chain, including Anthropic PBC, Cerebras Systems Inc., OpenAI Inc., OpenPipe Inc., and Fireworks AI, Inc. for natural language processing and AI features.
